Keep Kids Safe

Keep Kids Safe is a system that alerts parents/carers to their child’s absence and gives them the opportunity to either text a reply or ring in with a reason for absence. 

The number can be stored in their phone and used to report an absence which saves time trying to get through by phone and allows them to inform us even before the Academy day starts.

The system also communicates messages to parents with regard to school closures, meetings, truancy, late detentions, trips exam reminders, return to school information as well as positive feedback etc.

It is important that parents/carers keep the Academy up to date with correct contact details.  We ask all parents/carers to update their contact details during the annual enrolment day in September, plus any other time their contact details change.

The system will operate for both mobiles and landlines.
