Leeds West Academy is bursting with pride after our Year 7 Nurture students led an incredible fundraising effort to support Homeless Street Angels. Thanks to the generosity of our amazing staff, the students were able to gather and donate 12 large boxes filled with essential items and treats for those in need.
A special thank you goes out to everyone who supported the initiative, making this heartfelt contribution possible.
In a fun twist to the day, Shelley from the charity drew the winner of the Polar Bear raffle, and congratulations to Mr. Kelly, who took home the prize! In a wonderfully kind gesture, Mr. Kelly graciously passed the ‘Noddy’ Bear on to the student who helped with the draw. 🧸
