Year 10 Students Shine During Work Experience Week
Work Experience Week
Just a few weeks ago, over 200 of our Year 10 students stepped out of the classroom and into the real world for a fantastic Work Experience Week and what an incredible week it was!
Students had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of industries and workplaces within our local community. From primary schools and car dealerships to Britvic Soft Drinks and even Headingley Stadium, they explored future career paths, developed new skills, and learned what working life is really like.
This experience not only helped students understand different professional environments but also built confidence, teamwork, and communication skills that will serve them well in their futures.
A huge well done to all our students – your commitment, enthusiasm, and professionalism made us incredibly proud. And a heartfelt thank you to all the local businesses and organisations who welcomed and supported our students throughout the week.
Together, we’re preparing our young people for bright futures ahead.
