Farewell to five outstanding exchange students

Leeds West Academy has said 'Adiós' to our five exchange students from Colegio Estudio, Aravaca, Madrid; Valentina G, Ana, Laura, Valentina P and Julia. The girls have now completed a  five-week placement studying at our school, experiencing the British school system, and integrating into Year 10 lessons and forms.

Ms Thornycroft, Teacher of Spanish, said: "A special thank you goes to our wonderful Year 10 Spanish Ambassadors; Lauren, Brooke, Grace, Keeley, Kiana and Rachel, for taking them under their wing, forming true friendships and making their time at Leeds West Academy a thoroughly enjoyable one." 

As they say in Spain, 'No es un adiós, sino un hasta luego.'
