Exciting News!

We're thrilled to announce that our talented students at Leeds West Academy had a fantastic summer full of creativity and innovation. Their hard work has truly paid off as they've been selected as the winners in Leeds, alongside pupils from Alder Tree Primary, to showcase their incredible work at Light Night Leeds

Throughout the summer, our students had the incredible opportunity to participate in unique lighting workshops organised by the Society ( The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers). These workshops encouraged them to channel their inner artists and come up with their very own conceptual designs for the Minster.

The students' designs were centered around four inspiring themes:

Cultural Diversity

Religion

Music That Unites The Community

The Environment

Their dedication, creativity, and hard work paid off when the winning designs were chosen. Well done Hayden and Lizzie!
