Last Thursday, Leeds West Academy was thrilled to welcome acclaimed author Manjeet Mann for an unforgettable day of inspiration and creativity. The award-winning writer captivated our Year 9 students with an engaging assembly, where she shared the highs and lows of her journey to becoming a published author.

In the afternoon, a select group of students had the opportunity to take part in a hands-on creative writing workshop. Manjeet helped students tackle the common challenge of overcoming the fear of putting their ideas onto paper, sparking their imaginations and boosting their confidence in their writing abilities.

The day was filled with excitement, motivation, and a newfound passion for creative expression. Students left feeling inspired and eager to explore their own writing potential.
