Half Term 5

In half term 5, our Astronomy club members took part in the Marsballoon competition. They designed and pitched a Science experiment which could fit inside of a Kinder egg capsule. The winning teams saw yeast, seeds and even fidget toys launched 30'000m into the atmosphere on a weather balloon! Today, they used their returned capsules to complete their experiments. Angel and Eve, the overall winners of the project, found that the yeast they sent on the balloon caused a larger rise in dough compared to the yeast kept on Earth!
