Aspiring Lioness Lottie
Aspiring Lioness Lottie (Year 8) has been selected for trials for the Under 15 England Squad!
Lottie is a Year 8 student who has been demonstrating excellence in the sport of football. Previously playing for Leeds United, she has recently moved to Sheffield United on a new contract to test herself at the highest level. As part of her training at club level, she is developing her skills as a creative midfielder. Sheffield United are 1 of 20 professional academy clubs in the UK which will offer her a better chance to become a professional footballer in the future.
Lottie was scouted by the Football Association and following a number of assessments of her playing ability and attitude, she was selected to attend her first Under 14 England Lionesses camp. She was one of 18 girls who were identified based on being the best Under 14 players in the North East of England. They will all attend further camps in hope of joining the Under 15 England squad in the future.
Lottie has regularly played for the Leeds West Academy team, who won the Under 12 Leeds Schools Championships. Her talent and hard work, along with her positive attitude, is a credit to the academy and the football team. She has showed incredible leadership and hopes to inspire other young girls to achieve their goals.
Well done Lottie!
