Last Day of Term: Assembly and Jumpers

On Friday 15th December, Leeds West Academy finished the term by having a ‘Outstanding Achievement Celebration’ assembly for all students who achieved 79+% Attendance showing true resilience and recognition for their excellent behaviour in lessons and around the Academy throughout the term. All students had the opportunity to watch several performances by the drama and dance departments plus the Cheerleaders who are going from strength to strength.

All students and staff at Leeds West Academy wore their Christmas jumpers on the last day of term and donated a £1.00 per jumper to the ‘Christmas Jumper Appeal’ which is going towards the charity, ‘Save The Children’. The Academy raised over £700.00.

Ms Jennings said: "We are very proud of the students who try their best to follow the values of the Academy."
